    Head of the Admission Department

The Admission Department is an independent structural unit of the hospital, the main purpose of which is to hospitalize all patients who have come to the Reception Department for indications and to provide emergency medical care to those who do not require hospitalization.

The emergency medical care department provides free medical services guaranteed by the National Health Insurance System:
- emergency medical care
- primary medical care

The main tasks of the Admission Department:● Admission and examination of patients that come to the Admission Department;● Provision of medical care in the shortest possible time to hospitalized patients and patients who do not require inpatient treatment;● Conducting the necessary diagnostic, laboratory and instrumental examinations for all patients, monitoring patients who are in the Admission Department until clarification. Conducting sanitary treatment for patients referred to the hospital department● Distribution of patients by nature, severity and profile of the disease● Registration and maintenance of established medical and accounting documentation● Keeping records of hospitalized patients, as well as patients who received outpatient care in the admission department;● Transmission of a telegraph message to the emergency service of the Kyiv city emergency department about all cases of citizens' visits to the hospital with violent injuries● Constant maintainance of readiness to work in emergency situations and identifying patients with especially dangerous infections

We provide a wide range of free medical services guaranteed by the state package of the National Health Insurance Fund.● Initial examination by specialist doctorsEach patient has the opportunity to receive a professional examination and consultation from the following specialists:● Therapist – assessment of general health, diagnosis and referral for further examinations● Surgeon – examination and assistance for injuries, wounds and other surgical conditions● Neurologist – diagnostics and treatment of neurological disorders● Gynecologist – examination of women's health, prevention and treatment● Otolaryngologist – diagnostics and treatment of ear, throat and nose diseases● Urologist – consultation and assistance with urological problems● Ophthalmologist – vision test and diagnosis of eye diseases

For accurate diagnosis and monitoring of the patient's condition, the following examinations are performed:● Electrocardiogram – diagnostics of heart function● Ultrasound examination – visualization of internal organs● Endoscopy – examination of internal organs using special equipment● X-ray – accurate diagnosis of injuries, pneumonia and other diseases● Tomography – performed in acute cerebral circulation disorders (stroke)● Laboratory tests – complete blood test, urine test, syphilis test, SARS-CoV-2 test, flu test

If necessary, patients are immediately referred to the appropriate specialized unit – without unnecessary waiting.

Readiness and coordination of work in the Department is achieved through constant training, solving introductory tasks and practical training conducted by the Head of the Admission Department, Iryna Shkvyria. The Admission Department of the hospital is intended for the reception of patients and injured persons who need qualified treatment and examination in a hospital setting. The department has the necessary equipment, medical instruments, medicines and patient care items.
